Kmart Kenai

This project consisted of the construction of a 165,000 SF retail store initially in a 6-month time frame commencing in February 1993.  As a result of UNIT's suggestions, the store schedule was accelerated and completion was achieved in 4 1/2 months from the start of the contract.  This allowed the store to open for the heavy tourist season sales in the Kenai Peninsula.  Substantial acceleration and overlap of all phases of work was required to complete this project in record time under harsh winter conditions.
