//

Owner: Kenai Peninsula Borough

Architect: Soderstrom Architects

This project, awarded to UNIT in the fall of 2016, includes the renovation, shell space completion, and code compliance upgrades, approximately 14,000 SF, in and adjacent to the Central Peninsula Hospital Pavilion Radiology Department. Renovations included updated materials, finishes, and medical equipment, allowing CPH to provide expanded imaging services with the latest in medical technology. The project was constructed while the hospital was in operation, and was built in four phases in order to meet rigorous infection control and safety precautions. The remodel includes new CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy rooms, as well as a new reception, break room, stress rooms, offices, waiting areas and dress rooms.
