Fort Greely IDT Building

The Fort Greely IDT was the first IDT completed in the state of Alaska of a total of two IDT facilities related to the missile defense program. The building involved significant HEMP protection and the incorporation of substantial equipment furnished and installed by others.  There were several scopes of work that were not under our contract that we did not receive adequate notice or information on and this delayed and complicated the completion of the facility. Submittal process was complicated and delayed by the lack of commercially available equipment to meet the specificaitons. Despite these obstacles and others the critical Beneficial Occupancy Date (BOD) of 9/5/03 was met.
