UNIT broke ground on the Ridgeline Terrace Housing Development project in 2014. The housing development is located near Glenn Square, on Mt. View Drive, in Anchorage Alaska. The site, about 6 acres, holds 70 mixed-income units of affordable housing and an onsite Community Center.
The Community Center Building, known as the Jewel Jones Community Center, has a total square footage of 5,565 and features include a multi-purpose room, gathering space, full kitchen, office space/lounge, laundry room and Kids' Corps Head Start day care/education program to include kitchenette and kid/staff restrooms.
There are a total of 14 Townhome Style Buildings that make up the 70 Units. There are 3 separate Styles of Buildings, all with storage and laundry hook-ups within each Unit. Details are as follows:
