V.O.A. ARCH Replacement Facility
In July 2007 UNIT was selected as the Construction Manager / General Contractor for the Volunteers of America Adolescent Residential Center of Help (ARCH) Replacement Facility. The selection of UNIT followed submission of qualifications and pricing of the 65% complete construction documents. UNIT immediately submitted cost savings ideas and entered into discussions with the owner and architect to provide value engineering input to the current design and the completion of the overall design. Construction work began in mid August and negotiations on scope and cost continued to a conclusion in October 2007.
